About Keloids

Keloids are raised, overgrown scars that extend beyond the original wound boundaries, caused by excessive collagen production during wound healing. They can be painful, itchy, and cosmetically distressing. Treatment includes corticosteroid injections, silicone sheets, cryotherapy, and laser therapy.
