About Bell Palsy

Bell's palsy is a condition causing sudden, temporary weakness or paralysis of the muscles on one side of the face. It is thought to be caused by viral inflammation of the facial nerve. Most people recover fully, with treatment including corticosteroids and antiviral medications.
